Fresh Tomato and Basil Hummus

A delicious and protein packed snack to compliment any meal!


2 (15 oz) cans of organic chickpeas

1 medium sized tomato, sliced and deseeded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 gloves of garlic, finely minced

salt to taste

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh basil


In a high powered blender, add all ingredients and blend on high speed until smooth consistency forms. Slice carrots, celery and tomato for dipping. Enjoy!
